It took Hope several long minutes the next morning to remember that something unexpected had happened between Brock and her the night before. She didn’t know what it would’ve been like with other men, but something that magical could only come from being with Brock. What had happened between them the night before and what happened when they really awoke?

Deciding to think about all of that later, she allowed the peaceful relaxation that had taken over her body to continue to permeate her bones. There was a tender, rubbed sensation between her legs that wasn’t at all unpleasant either. She couldn’t recall the last time she’d been so relaxed or had felt so safe. Brock’s chest was better than any pillow she’d ever slept on, and his strong arms formed a sanctuary around her that she never wanted to vacate. He was still sound asleep. Hope let her eyes peek open to study the raw masculinity that was Brock Camden in the morning. His hair was rumpled and his muscular body relaxed under hers. That scent of his musk, outdoorsy and virile, was stronger, sexier even. With a deep breath, she grinned, something she very rarely did in the mornings before several cups of coffee.

Forcing her eyes to close again, she shifted slightly. He moved with her, automatically, so he could hold her close again. He was protective of her even in his sleep. With a soft, contented sigh, Hope immediately fell back asleep. There was no need for the night to end, even if the sun was coming up.
